If you are a residential ACN Home Phone customer, you may order up to three (3) ACN Companion App services (ordered within My Account) - each with a unique username and password associated with a smartphone. (ACN offers one ACN Companion App service for our Business Phone service.)
Note: If you have more than one ACN Home Phone primary line (i.e. phone service with ACN World Plan), you may have up to 3 ACN Companion App services for each Home Phone number.
ACN Companion app can be downloaded on up to three (3) smartphones (one for business phone service). However, each instance of ACN Companion App must be ordered within My Account. You will create a unique username and password for each additional service you add.
- Log in to My Account.
- Select Features and Services.
- Select Add-Ons.
- Select Add ACN Companion and follow the step-by-step instructions to complete each order of the app.
Once you have completed the ordering process AND received the email to indicate your service (username/password) has been activated, you may download the application on your smartphone(s) using your unique username and password.
Important! ACN Companion App is associated with only one smartphone at a time. Therefore, if you have replaced your smartphone, you must first unregister your "old" smartphone within My Account. This action must first occur in order for you to use your username and password to access ACN Companion App on your "new" smartphone. (Downloading the app can be done at any time.)
Step to Unregister Your Current Device:
- Log in to My Account.
- Select My Profile (menu on the left).
- Locate ACN Companion information. ACN Companion information will be present for each primary line for which the service was ordered.
- Select the box next to the Service Number that says "Unregister current mobile phone."
- Select Submit.
Once you have completed the above steps, simply use your existing credentials to log into ACN Companion app on your new smartphone. Once ACN Companion App registers, it will associate your app with your new smartphone.
You are unable to change your Username. If you have forgotten your username, this information is available within My Account.
- Log in to My Account.
- Select Customer Options (menu on the left).
- Locate ACN Companion information, where you will see your username (referred to as User ID within My Account).
Remember, ACN Companion App is registered to your ACN Home Phone Number and a single smartphone. Should you get a new smartphone, you will need to unregister your original phone.

- Click the box next to the Service Number that says "Unregister current mobile phone."
- Select Submit.
Once you have completed the steps to unregister your old phone, you can download the app on your new mobile phone and enter your username/password to register your new device.
Uninstall the app like you would any other application from your phone. If you would like to disconnect the ACN Companion App service, from your home phone account, please contact Customer Care.
Yes. You may retrieve your voicemail by dialing *62 (from your smartphone) or by dialing your ACN Home Phone Service number directly.
This will depend on the smartphone associated with the ACN Companion App. An iPhone will display a numeric indicator of a message waiting, while there is no indication of a voicemail with an Android device. However, with either an iPhone or an Android, you can check your voicemail by dialing *62 or dialing your ACN Home Phone number.
