ACN Business Phone Service supports up to 4 lines with the DigitalTalk Express Phone Adapter.
ACN Business Phone Service offers a phone adapter that connects to your existing phone equipment.* The phone adapter requires a wired high-speed Internet connection. The phone adapter converts a traditional analog signal to a digital signal, enabling you to make all your calls via your Internet connection. The phone adapter requires 80 kbps of continuous bandwidth per concurrent call. ACN does not recommend using a satellite or wireless Internet connection. Using these types of Internet connections can cause quality of service and registration issues with your adapter.
*Purchase of Phone Adapter required for service.
Fax machines, point-of-sale devices (credit card machines), data terminals, etc. were originally developed for the traditional telephone network. At this time, faxing, for example, is not supported on the 4-Port Phone Adapter. It is recommended that if there is a need for a fax line, a traditional phone line - with another provider - should be requested. Therefore, your voice service would be with ACN, while your fax line would be with a traditional phone provider.
